One of only four songs from The Siket Disc to appear in the live repertoire, “My Left Toe” has emanated from a number of jams. However – as with almost everything on that album – its tenuous construction makes it easy to mistake similarly spacey jams for intentionally performed versions of “My Left Toe.” Such was the case on 10/8/99, when a jam out of “Tweezer” sparked much debate as to whether it was “My Left Toe” or just a jam (the latter).
More concretely identified performances of the song have taken place on 6/30/99 (awesome segue from “Bug”), 7/7/99 (“Disease” -> “My Left Toe” -> “Wading” -> “My Left Toe”), 7/21/99 (out of "Simple" and into "Caspian"), and its final performance to date on 7/25/99 (out of “My Friend My Friend”).
